The League of Legends dev team has released a brand new dev update outlining some important things that’ll happen in League of Legends over the course of the next few months. One of the topics they brought up during the announcement is the upcoming skins that’ll come to the game in the next couple of months. And boy, they’ve cooked up something special with these flashy new Mythic skins.
They’ve also outlined some new characters to receive the Prestige skins, some of the rarest cosmetics in the game.

The Brand New Mythic Skins Theme; Crystalis Indomitus
The most major announcement regarding upcoming skins is the brand new Mythic skin theme called Crystalis Indomitus. The new skin is themed after the ‘twisted half’ of Crystalis Motus, from the Alternate Universe of Magicae Prismatica.
The skin is meant to showcase the untamed wilds in the north, where creatures are consumed by crystals for their power. And as usual with these sorts of crystalline baddies, they desire only one thing: to crystalize & corrupt the entirety of civilization.
In short, a badass ‘crystal’ Mythic skin with incredibly sharp ‘crystalline’ motifs and a faint purple or lighting glow. For now, three champions have been announced to receive the new Crystalis Indomitus Mythic skin –
● Kha’Zix in March 2024
● Xerath in April 2024
● Nautilus in August 2024
New Champions w/ Upcoming Prestige Skins
Alongside the peek at the new Mythic Skins theme, the League of Legends dev team has also announced two new champions who are getting the Prestige skin treatment. They had previously already announced two champions getting Prestige skins; Evelyn and Kayle.
But they’re now being a tad bit ambitious by announcing two more characters that’ll receive the rare Prestige skins; Yuumi and Leona. So now we have 4 new Prestige skins to look forward to in the coming months.
Each of the character’s Prestige skins can be purchased with Event Tokens so it’s a good idea to start saving up if any of the 4 characters are your mains!
Mythic Shop Rotation for Upcoming Patches
The last announcement in the dev update is the new Mythic Shop Rotation for the next few patches. Now they’ve included 4 Prestige skins every rotation so there’s a steady supply of rare skins to earn!
