Carrot Puree
Ingredients for Carrot Puree :
Carrot – 1 or 2
How to Prepare
Choose a carrot that is smooth in texture and is bright orange in color.
Wash the Carrot. Peel the carrot and dice it in small pieces.
You can cook the carrot by any method whether it is steaming or pressure cooking.
However, steaming helps retain the vitamins present in the carrot.
For steaming you can place the carrot chunks in a bowl and place it in a steam sterilizer. Make sure you check it if it is of the desired consistency your baby prefers.
Do not put your hands directly into the steam coming up, it may lead to burns. Use a tong or a fork to do so.
To pressure cook the carrots, put the carrot chunks in a bowl and pressure cook it with water as per the desired consistency. Cook for three whistles until it is soft and tender.

Pumpkin Puree

Pumpkin – ¼ or as required
How to Prepare
Choose a ripe and firm pumpkin, one that does not have any cracks or soft spots.
Peel the pumpkin and scoop out the seeds of the pumpkin. Cut it into small pieces.
Take a saucepan add water and cook the pumpkin with the lid on for around 15 minutes or until it is tender.
Puree the pumpkin in a blender, and add water till it reaches the desired consistency. Strain the puree and pour it into a Silicone Food Feeder.
