How to Join Indian Air Force After 12th Science, Arts, Commerce are written here. Everyone have a dream to join Indian air force, especially as a pilot in India. Every boy want to become a pilot. Joining air force is quiet difficult after 12th science, Arts and commerce. Their selection process is tough. For science students, they must apply for officer’s post. They can join Indian Air Force as a pilot, ground duty officer or technical post. Non science students such as arts and commerce students do not join as a officer after 12th, they can join as a ground duty officer but after completing their further studies.
Join Indian Air Force after 12th science:
After 12th science it is quiet easy to join Indian Air force as an officer. Students who have passed their exams with minimum 70% marks can give NDA (National Defense Academy) test. This test is the entrance exam for joining Indian Air force.
Eligibility Criteria for NDA Exam:
Candidate, who is willing to join Indian air force, must be Indian citizen. Only unmarried male candidate can apply for NDA exam. Candidate’s age must be between 16.5 years to 19 years.
NDA Exam Pattern:
There are two types of papers in exam. One is Mathematics paper with 300 marks and general ability paper with 600 marks.
Procedure of selection:
First of all candidate have to clear NDA exam. After this exam you are called for interview. After clearing the interview you have to clear all physical and medical tests. If you are selected then you become a air force trainer. There is 3 years training with army and navy candidate. After completing 3 years you sent for 1 year special training for Air force. After this you are flying officer of Indian Air Force.
Join Indian Air Force after 12th Arts, Commerce:
If anyone wants to join Indian Air Force officer after 12th with arts and commerce, then there is no chance for that candidate. Before joining Indian Air Force he must clear his graduation. After completing graduation, he can appear in AFCAT (Air Force Common Admission Test). After this test and other medical and physical tests, he can join Indian Air force as a Ground duty Officer.
